The XSP Platús are currently the only being constructed in maximum measures and lower weight.
The XSP is the only Platú25 that allows, just as it arrives from the Factory, racing in equal terms with the first Platú25 units built by Beneteau (because later Beneteau changed the measures). The first units built by Beneteau were the most wanted Platú25 in Europe, to the date, since they were built in maximum measures and they were more accurate to the Bruce Farr design. They also used to get the best results, but to get that they had to be hardly trimmed.
If you take a look to the classifieds of the Platu25 built by Beneteau, you will immediately realize how they always stress the works they had to do to the boat. With a Farr Platu25 XSP it is not necessary to do all this works and investment to have a top of the line winner boat, with excellent finishing, minimum weight and maximum size. The XSP units currently racing in our race courses are demonstrating it.
